Wednesday 8 March, ‘Editing the Long Nineteenth Century: Recovering Women in the Digital Age’

A one-day Wikipedia edit-a-thon at Birkbeck to mark International Women’s Day 2017

When: Wednesday 8 March 2017, 1:00pm-7:00pm

Where: Room 324 from 1.00pm-5.00pm and room 106 from 5.00pm-7.00pm. Both rooms are located in the Birkbeck School of Arts, 46 Gordon Square, London WC1H 0PD.

This event, supported by the Centre for Nineteenth-Century Studies, aims to increase the visibility and discoverability of ‘forgotten’ women of the long nineteenth century.

Short training sessions on editing Wikipedia pages will be available at 1.30pm in room 324, and at 5.30pm in room 106.
